Parimal Pandit , is a qualified Clinical Psychologist, Internationally Certified Anthroposophic Psychotherapist , trainer & Biography Consultant
Director at Anthroposophic Psychology and Research Association(APARA) and practicing psychotherapist, Chennai .
After pursuing masters in Clinical Psychology from University of Pune, she specialised as a clinical counsellor from MIMH (Maharashtra Institute of MentalHealth , Pune) and was a psychotherapist and course facilitator at the same institute for the next four years. Parimal has been practicing as a psychotherapist since two decades in various settings like multidisciplinary hospitals , schools, private clinic and special schools. Her main training hadbeen in Humanitarian and Cognitive Behavioural psychotherapy.
Parimal was a Program-Director at V-Excel Educational Trust (An NGO Working in the field of Developmental Disabilities), in Chennai (From 2007-2020). At V-Excel she oversaw, the counselling and assessment unit of V-Excel across three centers in Chennai.
Parimal has authored papers on Play Therapy, Understanding ADHD and Anthroposophic Psychotherapy. Has written an article in the book ‘Slow Counseling’ titled‘ Counseling- Indian way’.

· Brief overview of the concept of ‘Biography- An Anthroposophic Developmental Perspective’ as given by Rudolf Steiner
· Significance of Client’s age inDiagnosis and Therapy to complete the picture. What is a difference in the presentation and repercussion of occurrence of any psychological crisis or difficulty at different ages, e.g. having Depression say at the age of 24yrs and may be at 50 yrs. Understand the whole panorama of the individual’s life in all its dimension with respect to current difficulties. To get a glimpse of how crises and challenging life events can become opportunities to develop new capacities in this particular individual.
· How understanding Biography of the client can guide in creating the individualised road map in therapy to assist client to overcome dysfunctional patterns in Thinking, Feeling and Will and bring the alignment with developmental goals in all areas of one’s life.
